iScoutThe i.Scout Charity Shop in Beeston is run entirely by Volunteers.

All proceeds from the shop are ploughed back into Scouting in Nottinghamshire. Much of the money raised is used to support the Training of the adult volunteers that lead our youth sections and to subsidise large events.

The Beeston shop, (along with its sister shop in Sherwood) always welcomes donations of clothing (ladies, men’s and children’s) bedsheets, curtains, glassware, pottery, bric-a-brac, CDs, DVDs, books, small electrical items (which are PAT tested by one of our Volunteers).  If you have large or bulky items to donate but don’t have transport it may be possible to arrange collection – but we have limited storage and display space so it is always best to discuss this with a Volunteer in the Shop first or contact us.

(Anyone delivering items to the Shop by car should be aware that there are double yellow lines outside the front of the Shop. There is a back entrance from the Derby Street car park).

We are always looking to recruit additional Volunteers who could do occasional sessions (e.g. once or twice a month) or who could cover sessions at short notice when a Volunteer is sick or on holiday. So if you, or someone you know, have a few hours to spare and would like to work with a friendly group of people please get in touch with County HQ on 0115 952 3617. All our Volunteers say they enjoy their sessions in the Shop.
